PESHAWAR (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan said that the government has no mechanism to manage the declining economy.

Addressing a public meeting on Thursday, he said that the government had accepted all conditions of the International Monetary Fund.

"There has been historic inflation in Pakistan. The rupee is declining despite getting the IMF programme. The rupee will continue to fall until political stability in the country," he added.

The PTI chairman said that the country would suffer losses if the elections are delayed on one or another pretext. "Each tactic is being used to push the PTI to the wall," he maintained.

He claimed that the PTI had gained unmatched popularity in the country. "The 60 percent of the federal cabinet is on bail. The IMF is talking about increasing the gas price by 250 percent in the winter. It is being predicted that the growth rate will drop to below zero," he added.
