Govt hikes state and general provident fund profit ratios by 2.65%

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The federal government has announced an increase of 2.65 per cent in profit ratios for State and General Provident Fund (GPF) today. The major factor behind the latest increase has been linked to the persistent hike in the interest rates of commercial banks in the last three years. The ratio of compound profit has also been enhanced from 11.7 per cent to 14.35 per cent.
