Govt increased prices of POL products with a heavy heart: Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE (92 News) - PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz has said that the government increased the prices of the POL products with a heavy heart.

Addressing an election rally on Monday, she said that the prices had to be increased due to Imran Khan's agreement with the IMF. "The country would have been bankrupted had we not increased the prices of the POL products," she maintained.

Maryam Nawaz said that the Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N were standing with the people during this difficult time. "The Punjab CM has announced to provide free electricity to the people using up to 100 units. The kitty is empty, but a subsidy has been given on daily use items in utility stores," she addded.

She said that the country was free when Imran Khan was in the power and it became a slave after he lost the power. "A single case could not be proved against me," she added.
