Govt launches most ambitious, landmark housing policy: PM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has launched its most ambitious and landmark housing policy of building five million homes in five years. In his tweet, Imran Khan said that the housing project will provide affordable houses for less privileged strata of society. Besides, it will generate six million jobs, create demand in forty industries directly involved in house building and attract Foreign Direct Investment. “We have launched our most ambitious, landmark housing policy of building 5mn homes in 5 yrs. InshaAllah this will provide affordable houses for our less privileged strata of society, plus 6mn jobs, create demand in 40 industries directly involved in house building & attract FDI,” the prime minister tweeted.

– NADRA releases form of Naya Pakistan project – On the other hand, the application forms for registration at “Naya Pakistan Housing” project can be obtained from designated offices of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) from today. According to details, an applicant needs to provide his/her complete information including name, Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number, monthly income and residential address for registration. The form will be available at Rs.250.  Initially, 0.5m low cost houses will be built under the soft launch initiative of project.
