Govt not fearful of no-confidence move or anything else, says Furrukh Habib

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – State Minister on Information Furrukh Habib has said that the government is not fearful of no-confidence move or anything else.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that the government is taking the allies along with it amicably. "Meetings are the right of each political party and individual," he added.

The minister was of the view that Opposition Leader in the Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani was absent from the session that approved the State Bank of Pakistan (Amendment) Bill.

Briefing about the PTI CEC meeting, he said that the CEC had formed a board with regard to the local bodies elections. "The ECP will announce the date for the local bodies elections. PM Imran Khan has decided to expedite the public contact campaign. Uplift projects are going on across the country," he maintained.

Furrukh Habib said that PM Imran Khan would address the public gatherings under a political strategy. "PM Imran Khan will distribute the Sehat cards in Faisalabad on February 9. The CEC has congratulated the prime minister him on the successful tour to China," he added.

He said that the China tour will further strengthen the ties between Pakistan and China. "The establishment of the special economic zones will promote industries. The reality of the tearing stomachs has been exposed," he concluded.
