Govt not increasing prices of POL products: Musadik Malik

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - State Minister for Petroleum Musadik Malik has said that the government is not increasing the prices of POL products as their prices are raised only at the international level.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that Pakistan has petrol for 20 days and diesel for 29 days. He warned those involved in hoarding and overcharging of petrol.

"Everyone knows what Islam tells about hoarders. They will be treated as per teachings of Islam if they did not stop the hoarding," he maintained.

The state minister said that the government is taking steps for improvement in economy. "We are ensuring availability of petrol, gas and oil to the masses," he added.
