SUKKUR (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the government had paid back Rs 35,000 billion during two-and-a-half years.

Addressing a ceremony to launch Ehsas Kafalat Programme on Friday, he said that the prime minister had paid back only Rs 20,000 billion. "The country would have made unimagined progress had we spent the money on it," he added.

The prime minister said that they had spent 33 percent of the Ehsas Programme Fund in Sindh. "We planned a city on the islands near Karachi, but the Sindh government cancelled the NOC," he maintained.

Addressing a ceremony regarding Kamyab Jawan Programme, Minister for Planning Asad Umar said that Sindh was the biggest gas-producing country. "Unluckily, gas is not being provided to the people where it is produced," he added.

He said that the mission of PM Imran Khan is not to make property in London and Switzerland, but he thinks for the entire nation.
