Govt prepares ordinance to hold Senate election through open ballot

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government has prepared an ordinance to hold the Senate election through the open ballot.

According to sources, the manuscript off the ordinance has been sent to Prime Minister Imran Khan. The ordinance has been linked to the court verdict.

The manuscript of the ordinance has been authored by Attorney General Khalid Javed. The secret ballot will be held if the Supreme Court ordered to hold the election as per law. The voting will be open if the Supreme Court declared the Senate election legal.

The ordinance application will be conditional with the Supreme Court verdict.
