Govt put economic stability at the top, says PM Shehbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the economy is facing a major challenge of recovery.

In an interview to a Saudi newspaper, the Prime Minister said that the government has put economic stability at the top, and has strong fraternal relations with Saudi Arabia. Both countries have always developed multilateral cooperation. Saudi Arabia is increasing cooperation in IT, defense and other sectors.

He said that in the year 2022, we find ourselves trapped in an economic crisis. The international community is currently going through a difficult time. On the one hand, there is the challenge of rising prices of essential goods. On the other hand, America is facing historic financial deficits while Europe is facing war.

PM Shahbaz Sharif said that our journey of development has stopped due to three significant problems. Not enough money has been spent on education, health and infrastructure, the key elements of development.
