Govt puts names of Shehbaz Sharif, Qaim Shah & Fawad Hassan Fawad on ECL

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The governmenton Friday put the names of Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif, Sindh former chief minister Syed Murad Shah and Fawad Hassan Fawad on the exit control list.

According to sources, the federal cabinet has approved the summary to put their names on the ECL through circulation. The names of all three have been put on the ECL on the order of the Supreme Court.

Their names have been put on the ECL due to several cases against them.

The sources said that Qaim Ali Shah faces a NAB case in the Sindh Roshan Programme, while Shehbaz Sharif faces the charges of money laundering and assets beyond income.

Reacting to the move, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Nawaz said that it was Imran Khan's priority to put the name of Shehbaz Sharif on the ECL, not to set aright inflation, unemployment and economy.
