Govt reduces price of petrol by Rs 12.63 per litre

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Government reduced the petrol price by Rs12.63 per liter. The new price of petrol will be Rs224.80 per liter.

The federal government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products for the next 15 days. The price of High-Speed Diesel has been reduced by Rs12.13 per liter to Rs235.30. The price of Kerosene oil and Light Diesel Oil was also reduced by Rs. 10.78 to the Rs. 224.80.

While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the economic indicators are improving. “The revenue targets have been met for the month of September and this quarter. We will try to provide relief to the people despite the difficult situation.

“It is hoped that as the government shows flexibility, taxpayers will also file their tax returns on time,” he concluded.
