Govt refuses to accept demands of banned TLP

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government refused to accept the demands of the banned Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) on Wednesday.

The decision was made during a meeting of the federal cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The prime minister directed the authorities to sternly deal with those blocking the passages. He said that the torture of the policemen was not the task of political workers, but terrorists'.

The meeting also decided to establish the writ of the government. The cabinet members, according to sources, were of the view that those challenging the writ of the state would not be tolerated.

The forum also reviewed political, economic and security situation. They also discussed 23-point agenbda, including the PM Imran Khan's visit to Saudi Arabia, inflation and other issues.

The cabinet also endorsed the decision taken by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC).
