ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government has rejected the joint investigation team (JIT) report on the Panama Papers, terming it ‘Imran Nama’.

The government also announced to challenge it in the Supreme Court.

Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Ahsan Iqbal said that the report did not contain the proof of corruption or tax evasion against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

He said that the JIT report should be thrown in a dustbin.

Barrister Zafarullah said that the report had not recommended a reference in the NAB.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that there was no value of the source report.
