ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has said that the government should resign instead of imposing a mini-budget and playing with the future of the country.

In a statement on Wednesday, he said that the exceeding of trade deficit during the current month from US$5 was the economic destruction.

"The imposition of 17 percent tax on 100 items will increase inflation in the country. The dollar rate has crossed Rs180. These are not good news and the economy is on the reverse gear," he maintained.

The PML-N president said that everyone was worried about the inflation. "The adviser is issuing contradictory statements – sometimes decrease and sometimes an increase in the inflation," he added.
