LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has said that the government should not conceal itself behind the institutions to hide its failures. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that Pak Army and the army chief belong to the nation, not the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. He said that the biggest corruption scandal is BRT Peshawar. “Has anyone questioned why those making the projects successful are termed thieves and those failing them are branded as heroes?” he said. The PML-N leader said that those taking the PTI drops becomes above the accountability of all types. “Record corruption is going on in the government departments. People are being looted in all government offices in Lahore and Islamabad,” he alleged. He said that they would be forced to increase pressure if the government tried to create hurdles in the independent elections. The PML-N leader said that no one would be ready to become the PM if the government lasted for more six months. “The prime minister is congratulating the cabinet for bringing the growth rate to two percent,” he said. He said that the prime minister had destroyed the country in Asia. “The government has increased the power rates for fourth time,” he said. Earlier on November 28, Ahsan Iqbal had accused the government of insulting the national institutions. He said that the opposition is impatient to send the government home. “The government is also in haste to go home,” he added. Ahsan Iqbal said that the experience had failed and now the government should be changed immediately. “The country will be in severe crises if the incompetent rulers remained at the helm,” he said. He said that the foreign funding case is the biggest one in Pakistani politics and its verdict should be announced immediately. “Why is the matter being concealed if no theft was committed?” The PML-N leader said that the PTI had not shown 23 bank accounts and the State Bank of Pakistan had detected their theft. “Khan Sahib should not flee and present the receipts,” he said. He said that COAS extension is the prerogative of the prime minister who should have done it amicably. “The country, including CPEC, was affected by the policies of the government,” he said.
