Govt tasked ISI to resolve Faizabad sit-in: Ministry of Defence report

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government tasked the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) to resolve the Faizabad sit-in protest. According to the report of Ministry of Defence on Sunday, the ISI was asked to solve the problem in a meeting held at the Prime Minister House. The report said that the intelligence agency did not orchestrate Faizabad sit-in. The report further said that actually the ISI completely coordinated with the government to negotiate with protesters to resolve the crisis.
