Govt to launch massive campaign to give people COVID-19 vaccine

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The federal government has decided to launch a massive campaign to give the COVID-19 vaccine to the people.

The decision was made during a meeting of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday. Prime Minister Imran Khan presided over the meeting.

NCOC Chairman Asad Umar said that over seven million people had been vaccinated. "We will achieve the taregt of vaccinating 700 million people by the end this year," he maintained.

He said that the people above 18 years would be vaccinated free. "A sharp decrease in the coronavirus cases is being witnessed in the country. The positive cases rate has reached four percent," he maintained.
