Govt to present its stance on Panama leaks, says Chaidhry Nisar

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has on Tuesday said that the government will present its stance regarding Panama leaks. Talking to media after inaugurating a passport office in Rawalpindi’s Rehmanabad, Chaudhry Nisar said that the NADRA profit is being spent on welfare schemes and not on like the previous government. He said that the NADRA was facing a loss of Rs 6 billion in previous governments but now NADRA earned five billion rupees last year, and this year so far, Rs 6 billion have been earned. Similarly, Passport Office has so far generated revenue of Rs 22 billion this year. The minister said that over 100,000 National Identity Cards have been blocked for not having valid information. Two hundred employees have been removed from service for corrupt practices.
