Govt to take steps to bring improvements in cricket, says Riaz Pirzada

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination Riaz Pirzada has on Friday said that new coach and chairman will be appointed following the Pakistan Cricket Team’s debacle in Asia Cup and ICC World T20. Addressing the National Assembly session on Friday, Riaz Pirzada said that the national cricket teams batting badly collapsed in ICC World T20, adding that the team needs the support from entire nation. He said that the team disappointed nation with their poor performance, adding that the bowlers did well. The minister said that the whole board is appointed through references. “I have sent a note to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in this regard,” he added. He said that the government will take all necessary steps to bring improvements in the cricket structure.
