Govt wants to improve people’s living standard through social uplift: Maleeha Lodhi

NEW YORK (92 News) – Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dr Maleeha Lodhi has said that the Pakistan government wants to improve people’s living standard through social uplift. She was speaking at the United Nations in the 57th Session of the Commission for Social Development on Friday. “Poverty alleviation, uniform education system and basic healthcare facilities are the priorities of the government,” she declared. Dr Maleeha Lodhi said that the youth is the biggest asset of Pakistan. “The government can lay the foundation of a bright Pakistan by attention to the youth population,” he said. She said that sustainable and equal progress can only be achieved by focusing on education and health. “The Sehat Card will make it possible the treatment for the poor families,” she maintained.
