Govt wants to steal election through EVM, says Khawaja Saad Rafique

LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that the government wants to steal the election through the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM).

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that the same work would be taken from the EVM which was taken from the Result Transmission System (RTS). "Threats were hurled at institutions. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should be protected," he added.

He hoped that the administration would show impartiality in the Cantonment Boards elections. "The ECP has stood against the government first time," he added.

Khawaja Saad Rafique said that they are talking about setting the ECP on fire. "The government has a fake majority in the National Assembly," he maintained.
