Govt will be forced to conduct elections in April, says Imran Khan

LAHORE (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has said that the government will be forced to hold the elections in April.

In an interview with BBC Urdu, he said that this government came into being through auction, not the elections. "The economy has been destroyed. The PTI can become part of the consultation for the establishment of the caretaker government," he maintained.

Imran Khan said that no investor will trust the government until the conduct of the election.

He said that he had no relationship with the new army chief. "Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Asif Zardari and Maryam have been rescued and the cases have been quashed against them," he maintained.

The PTI chairman said that the only solution to avoid the Sri Lanka-like situation is the free and fair election. "We have dissolved our governments for this reason," he added.
