LAHORE (92 News) – Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has said that several bigwigs will be out of the political battlefield in the next elections.

Addressing a press conference with Information Minister Shafqat Mahmood on Saturday, he said that the government is going to file a case against Shehbaz Sharif. “The opposition leader should worry about his seat. The opposition has no politics and it is a mixture of different items. We will provide separate tents to the opposition leaders if they will come to Islamabad," he maintained.

The minister said that party tickets will be awarded at different levels. "A committee will be formed at the provisional level for distributing tickets of neighbourhood and village councils. The party organizations will be formed in South Punjab as well," he added.

Shafqat Mahmood said that educational institutes will remain open if COVID-19 situation does not deteriorate.

Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary said that it was pity the opposition is doing politics over a tragedy. “People should avoid visiting northern areas due to unusual snowfall. Express Highway has been reopened. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is addressing a press conference in Islamabad after ignoring his constituency," he added.
