Govt will file an application against Shehbaz Sharif for guaranteeing Nawaz Sharif: Attorney general

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Attorney General Khalid Javed has announced that the government will file an application against Shehbaz Sharif for giving a guarantee of Nawaz Sharif.

Expressing his views in 92 News Programme 'Ho Kaya Raha Hai' on Tuesday, he said that Nawaz Sharif had gone abroad for treatment. "The evidence shows that Nawaz Sharif has no serious illness," he added.

Khalid Javed said that the court has the right to investigate the dramatic change. "The court should know whether it was not misguided," he added.

He said that the NAB laws had been changed for the second time on the complaint of the business community and civil servants.

"The NAB is an independent institution. I think that some cases should have not been filed presently. There are some cases which have been taken to the logical end much earlier. These cases carry clear-cut proofs," he added.
