ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government has decided to file a criminal case against Justice (retd) Wajihuddin over the allegations against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Talking to the media on Thursday, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary said that the government was also issuing notices to the TV channels airing the statements of Wajihuddin.

He appealed to the chief justice to hear these cases on priority basis. "There is neither a law nor its implementation. It is highly regrettable to target the personality of Imran Khan," he added.

On the other hand, Justice (retd) Wajihuddin has said that he was ready to face the case against him and courts are for the same purpose. "Why will Fawad Chaudhary file the criminal case against him?" he added.

He said that the statement of Jahangir Tareen is political one as he had no option. "Such expenditures are out of box. For this reason, it is easy to deny it. Jahangir Tareen has earned billions of rupees as he had given his airplane," he added.
