Govt will go home before Senate election, says Maryam Nawaz
Talking to the media on Thursday, she said that now the people would not let the rigging-marred government. "The election results in Gilgit-Baltistan will be different," she added.
During a meeting between leaders of the PML-N and the PPP, both parties demanded that the elections should be made transparent. It decided that presidents of both parties will devise a strategy to stop rigging. "Both parties are united to pursue the PDM agenda," the meeting agreed.
The meeting resolved to send the selected government home at all costs.
Meanwhile, PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz returned from Gilgit-Baltistan. She will participate in a workers' convention in Swat on Friday.
