Govt will have to resign, claims Maulana Fazlur Rehman

QUETTA (92 News) - Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) head Maulana Fazlur Rehman claimed that the government will have to resign, it may be late to reach the destination but it will not take long for the rulers to leave.

Informal talk with the journalists in Quetta, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the manner in which the people supported him is a historic moment, a historic public gathering will also be held in Loralai, the people have rejected the stolen mandate.

"The government claimed that terrorism was over and how did the Machh tragedy happened," he asked. 

A day earlier, JUI-F cheif Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the nation will move towards Rawalpindi not Islamabad. Addressing a public gathering of the PDM in Malakand, the JUI-F chief head said, "We respect armed forces. Should the establishment clarify whether it is with Imran Khan or unbiased?"

He said that they would reach Islamabad on January 19 to stage a protest in front of the building of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). “The protest at the ECP will be followed by a rally against Israel in Karachi on January 21,” he added.

Fazlur Rehman maintained thanked the people of Malakand for coming out in big numbers to attend the PDM’s public gathering. "The determination with which the people of Malakand have come out of their homes will sweep away the rulers like rags, who have robbed the mandate of nation," he mentioned.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman dared the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to send a questionnaire to him. He threatened the NAB with dire consequences if it sends a questionnaire to him.
