Govt will present mini budget in National Assembly on December 28

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Government has completed prepration to present mini budget in National Assembly on December 28.

According to the sources of Finance Ministry tax exemption of Rs350 billion will be withdrawn from mini budget. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) sovereignty bill is also likely to be presented along with the finance bill.

IMF demands that amended finance bill must be passed by the assembly. It can not be regulated through ordinance.

Pakistan will have to fulfill the demand of IMF before January 12 for reciving first installment of US$one billion loan.
