ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz said that the government will seek the guidance of the Supreme Court for holding the Senate elections through show of hands.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he said that the government wants the Senate elections before or in March. "Prime Minister Imran Khan wants the Senate elections should be fair and transparent," he added.

The minister said that the committee would determine the responsible people and submit a report on the petrol crisis next week.

He said that the Centre has no much money after distributing revenues among the provinces. "The Centre has to borrow money to meet the expenditures," he added.

Shibli Faraz said that the PDM meeting had badly failed as the people were conscious people. "Allegations are being levelled against each other after the failure of the public meeting," he added.

He said that the PDM head is not part of the parliament and how he can seek resignation of the government.
