ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has on Tuesday said that the federal government’s non-serious approach to Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) reforms is an insult to the people of FATA who have sacrificed so much but have still to be given their full democratic rights. In his message on social website, he said that the delay in implementing the complete reforms package is causing unrest in FATA and will have serious repercussions. The PTI chairman demanded the government to table before NA a full package of FATA reforms including abolition of FCR; extension of SC & PHC jurisdiction; & amendment in Article 106 allowing for increase of seats in KP assembly to accommodate representatives from FATA.
