Green Shirts thrash Argentina 4-1 in Champions Trophy Hockey

NETHERLANDS (92 News) – Green Shirts defeated Argentina by 4-1 in the Champions Trophy on Thursday. This is the first victory of Pakistan in the tournament. Irfan Junior, Ali Mubashar, Ahmed Ijaz and Bilal Muhammad pushed one goal each to seal the victory. In the previous games, Pakistani suffered defeats against India, Australia and the Netherlands. Apart from hosts the Netherlands, Australia, Argentina, Belgium, India and Pakistan are taking part in the tournament from June 23 to July 1. Pakistan's next game will be against Belgium on Friday.
