We have tabled no-trust, they can dissolve assembly if they have confidence: Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that they have tabled no-trust and the Punjab rulers should use the power to dissolve assembly if they have confidence.

Talking to the media outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday, he said that how they can dissolve assembly if they have no confidence. "Should the assembly dissolve if a person stages a sit-in by gathering 4,000 people?" he queried.

He said that the federal government does not want to introduce the tradition of holding the elections through blackmailing in the country.

Khawaja Asif said that the ground is slowly slipping from under the feet of Imran Khan. "Imran Khan also played the last card to dissolve the assemblies that failed. The result of distrust in Punjab will also come in two to three days. The circle around Imran Khan is gradually narrowing. There is no person who has done a favour to Imran Khan and he has not forgotten the favor,” he added.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif also said that the government has planned a comprehensive package to control inflation and provide relief to the people. "Under the package, prices of petroleum products and other essential commodities will be significantly cut down." 

PML-N leader Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha said that Imran Khan's politics is based on lies. He should be disqualified for life so that no politician lies to the nation in future. "It is a myth that the one who accuses others is himself revealing his face," he added.
