Gullu Butt released from jail

LAHORE (92 News) – The key character of Model Town incident Gullu Butt was released from Kot Lakpat jail on Monday.   Gullu Butt bowed in gratitude after reaching home. Gullu Butt also apologized from the entire nation.   On the other hand, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) condemned the release of Gullu Butt calling it a sad thing.   Gullu Butt was arrested for vandalising cars in the presence of policemen during clashes between supporters of PAT and police in Model Town, 2014.   The court had ordered a life sentence of 11 years to Gullu Butt.
