Enemies not digesting CPEC project, says PM Nawaz Sharif

KOHLU (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the enemies are not digesting the China Pakistan Economic Corridor project. He was speaking at the inauguration of Sibi Road on Thursday. The prime minister said that internal and external enemies had been exposed. “The fate of the nefarious designs of the enemies is failure. Our destination is the prosperity of Balochistan. No one has paid attention to Balochistan,” he said. Earlier addressing the ceremony after laying foundation stones of several projects in Gwadar, he said that China-Pakistan friendship can be seen everywhere. He said that the country is on the path towards development and Gwadar is going to become Pakistan’s most developed city. The prime minister said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Project will make history, adding that a new airport is being built in Gwadar. He said that he is very happy to see that Gwadar is transforming into an international city, adding that Gwadar has the potential to become a world class sea port. “It is a place which is not only important for Pakistan, but also for the region and the world,” he added. Nawaz Sharif said that Gwadar which used to be most backward city of Pakistan is becoming most prosperous city of the region, adding that the Gwadar seaport is nerve centre of the CPEC. The prime minister said that he is proud of Pakistan, China friendship and said it will be strengthened further. “Pakistan and China is implementing joint venture in infrastructure, power, railways and other sectors including industrial zones and economic zones,” he said.
