LAHORE (92 News) – The return Hajj flights of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to carry home Pakistani pilgrims from Saudi Arabia started on Monday morning. The first two Hajj flights carrying more than 600 pilgrims landed at the Allama Iqbal Airport, Lahore on Monday morning. A large number of relatives and friends of pilgrims were present at the airport to welcome them. The Hajj pilgrims said that the Mina stampede incident occurred due to the fault of Algeria and Moroccan citizens but Ministry of Religious Affairs didn’t even inquire about Pakistani pilgrims. The pilgrims said that the government departments and ministry of religious affairs were confused. “We are happy to perform Hajj but the arrangements could be better if little attention was given,” the pilgrims said. Strict security arrangements were made at the Lahore Airport during the arrival of pilgrims.
