Hamza demands parliamentary commission to probe election rigging

LAHORE (92 News) – Lambasting on alleged rigging in election results, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz on Sunday demanded parliamentary commission to probe election rigging. Addressing to the Punjab Assembly, after defeat in battle of Punjab chief minister, he lamented that this mandate is contaminated with rigging, saying it is not people’s real mandate. The PML-N's nominee of Punjab chief minister said that the parliamentary commission should be constituted to probe alleged rigging in recently happened election, saying "everything will become visible" after probe of rigging in election. Hamza Shehbaz said that he does not desire to gain the rule because power comes and goes. He termed that all leaders have to work out with coordination and with fully cooperation. He stressed that PML-N will enthusiastically play its opposition role in the politics of Pakistan. The son of former Punjab chief minister complained that the PML-N government granted a chance to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to form its government in Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa, but PTI-led government didn’t let us do the same in Punjab. On the other hand, PTI leader Aleem Khan said that the PTI will fulfill the 70 years of nation's deprivations. He assured that the South Punjab must become separate province. Earlier today, usman Buzdar secured 186 votes while his rival Hamza Shahbaz Sharif of the Pakistan Muslim League-N got 159 votes. The electoral process was held at Punjab Assembly in Lahore, on the basis of Division of House.
