Hamza demands to constitute larger bench on NAB chief interview

LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz demanded to constitute the lager bench on the matter pertaining to controversial interview of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal Addressing a press conference, the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader said that a larger bench should be constituted to analyze the cases the NAB chairman. He termed that the courts must summon Javed Iqbal and journalist over interview controversy.
Nexus of NAB with PM Imrna Khan
Alleging on the national institutions, Hamza Shehbaz said that the nexus of the corruption watchdog body and Prime Minister Imran Khan has been exposed. He said that the NAB team raided consecutively two days in his house despite of interim bail from the Lahore high Court (LHC). “NAB chairman says Hamza Shehbaz is hiding behind the courts, will be behind the bars soon,” he said.
Next budget is murderer
Criticizing on economic policies of the incumbent government, the opposition leader said that inflation has become unbearable. He termed the next budget as the murder. “Finance Adviser Hafeez Shaikh has become nervous before taking the next budget,” he said. Hamza Shehbaz said that if NAB proved cases against him, he will leave the politics. He said questionnaire is prepared by a grade 17 officer but DG NAB Lahore said he himself wrote the questionnaire of Hamza Shehbaz. He said DG NAB Lahore discussed about the dates of filing of reference against Sharif family in the interview. He alleged that it is now proved that NAB and Niazi have some special relations. Earlier, Hamza Shahbaz said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government should either perform, or go home after apologizing. Talking to the journalists, the opposition leader said that the nation would not forgive us if the opposition does not unite against the government. Calling Prime Minister Imran Khan coltish, he also said the economy of Pakistan is dying and the country is facing its worst economic crisis. He demanded that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government should either perform, or go home after apologizing. Hamza Shahbaz further added that people are suffering from inflation, and the government has made the country a beggar. “You have to improve performance. 300 per cent hike was made in medicines’ prices besides a hefty increase in essential commodities, whereas, Gas rates were increased for poor people and decreased for elites,” he said while pointing to PM Khan.
