LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN) leader Hamza Shehbaz on Sunday said the government cannot be run by taking loans. Addressing a ceremony at Jamia Naeemia, Hamza Shehbaz has termed that even a single house cannot be managed through begging but this government is trying to run this country on the base of loan. The opposition leader also said that the public will not be satisfied by accusing others of corruption. “Don’t present imaginary world to the public, speak truth and the public will conduct your accountability after the work,” he said while criticizing to the incumbent government. Hamza mentioned that the public never trust on the rulers when they failed to fulfill the promises given by them. He also urged all political parties to set economic priorities and formulating the legislation.
Hamza predicts misadventure by India is expected
Hamza Shehbaz predicted the misadventure by India would be expected in coming days. Criticizing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the opposition leader on March 4, had said that he should use any other trick to win polls. He had said that Narendra Modi should restrain from gaining cheap popularity by escalating tension between the two nuclear powers. Hamza asks PM to give answer for Aleema’s assets
Earlier on Feb 14, Hamza Shehbaz said that Prime Minister Imran Khan should give answer for the property of his sister Aleema Khan. “PM Khan is not transparent who always calls robbers to others but now he has to justify the assets of his sister Aleema Khan in US,” Hamza Shehbaz said while speaking to the journalists outside Punjab Assembly. He also said that Imran Khan would be forced to apologise to his voters over the dismal performance. The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader hit out at the PTI-led government, terming, “The day is not far when the prime minister will be compelled to go atop a container once again and say he has failed the people of Pakistan owing to his government’s policies.” Criticizing on the economic policies of the government, the opposition leader said that the people of Pakistan have had to bear the brunt of the economic failures of the government with prices of basic necessities sky rocketing. Hamza Shehbaz said that the drone of inflation would be stricken on the general public in mini-budget by the government. “The public can’t be given any relief by the government busy in criticising the previous governments.” Responding to his name on the exit control list (ECL), the PML-N leader said: “I had no idea my name was being added to the ECL, but it does not matter as I was on the same list for the last 10 years during the Musharraf’s dictatorial reign.” He further said that the PTI rulers has dual standards of accountability for the opposition and the government.
