Hanif Abbasi suffers heart problem, shifted to PIC from camp jail
LAHORE (92 News) – Imprisoned Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi, a convict in the ephedrine case, was shifted to Punjab Institute Cardiology (PIC) from camp jail after suffering heart problem.
According to the sources, the PML-N leader was shifted to hospital from Jail when he got worse condition. The sources also said that Abbasi was unwell for the last couple of days.
According to doctors, Hanif Abbasi is suffering from cardiac issue and there was blockage in one of his heart s vain. The PML-N leader is serving life sentence in Lahore’s Camp Jail in relation to the ephedrine case.
Hanif Abbasi shifted to Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat jail from Attock prison
On Oct 4, 2018, Hanif Abbasi was shifted from Attock jail to Kot Lakhpat prison in Lahore. Inspector General (IG) Punjab Shahid Baig said that the imprisonment has been shifted to Lahore jail for his treatment. He also said that his health condition is not better and there is lack an adequate hospital facility in Attock.
Hanif Abbasi shifted to hospital due to breathing issue
Earlier Aug 20, the PML-N leader was shifted from Adiala jail to to the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology after health deterioration. The health of the PML-N leader deteriorated on Friday in Adiala Jail.
Abbasi is facing breathing problem due to throat tonsils. His condition is very serious after pollen allergy attack and he has been shifted to jail hospital.
Hanif Abbasi shifted to Attock Jail over photo with Nawaz
He was shifted to Attock jail on the directives of DIG Rawalpindi after his photo surfaced with Nawaz Sharif and others inside Adiala jail.
Hanif Abbasi awarded life imprisonment in ephedrine case
Earlier, An anti-narcotics court awarded life imprisonment to the PML-N leader in ephedrine case. The verdict was reserved earlier today. During the hearing, Abbasi provided legal use of as much as 363KG ephedrine whereas he failed in submitting the evidence pertaining to legal usage of 137KG ephedrine case in the court.
