Happy to see people celebrating PSL in Karachi, says Sindh CM

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Sunday said that he has fulfilled his promise of holding the final of the third edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the newly renovated Karachi National Stadium. In his tweet on Sunday, he said: “With the Grace of Allah Almighty, gratified to have been able to fulfill my promise of holding PSL final in Karachi, made a year ago!” He said that he was happy to see people celebrating PSL in Karachi. “I’m really pleased to see people celebrating PSL in Karachi this year.” The Sindh CM also thanked to all those who helped the Pakistan Peoples’ Party-led (PPP) provincial government make this possible. Murad Ali Shah expressed hope to see more cricket in Karachi in future. The provincial government has also invited Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and others to attend the final match of the PSL. Syed Murad Ali Shah has sent invitation letters to the prime Minister, the army chief, chief ministers and governors from all four provinces to attend the final match. Earlier, the Sindh CM announced that Hyderabad will be the next to host the country’s premier T20 tournament from next year.
