KARACHI (92 News) – The Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) in Karachi has ordered to arrest and present Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders Farooq Sattar, Amir Khan, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and other accused before the court till Monday.

The order has been given in the case pertaining to inflammatory speech delivered by MQM founder Altaf Hussain on August 22.

The investigative officer told the court that teams have been formed to arrest Farooq Sattar and others.

The court expressed dissatisfaction over the police report and said that it is making a fool out of the people. The court in its remarks said that the government and police would have to realize the sensitivity of the issue.

Moreover, the investigations of three cases regarding the attack on media houses have been handed over to Malir SSP Rao Anwar.

The court also approved the bail of Qamar Mansoor in four cases during the hearing.

MQM-Pakistan chief Sattar was released after a brief detention on Saturday in the same case.

MQM has detached itself from founder Altaf Hussain using the ‘minus-one’ formula after he incited the party workers against the military establishment and security forces and to attack the media houses in his August 22 speech.
