ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he who committed theft must be held accountable.

Addressing the launching ceremony of Digital Media Development Program on Friday, he said that the powerful class wants their theft should be pardoned and the poor should be put behind the bars. "The people around whom noose has been tightened are raising a hue and cry, while people sitting abroad are also crying," he maintained.

The prime minister said that they will have to think while raising above the self. "The opposition should criticize us, but it should be true," he added.

He said that the youth is their future and they should prepare themselves for future challenges. "The government will provide all possible facilitates to polish the talented youth of the country with modern skills. The government is making efforts to move the country forward on the principals of Riyasat-e-Madina which teaches us self-respect, justice and merit," he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary said that the real fight pertains to the narrative. "The fight of narrative can only be fought through the media."

He said that former rulers had used the state media to promote their agenda. "The former rulers did not even know public diplomacy," he added.
