Health and Kissan cards will prove to be a turning point in country's history: PM Imran Khan

BAHAWALPUR (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the Health and Kissan cards will prove to be a turning point in the country's history.

Addressing the Kissan Convention on Wednesday, he said that Pakistan had been facing each kind of crisis in the past. "Production has not been increased in proportion with population," he added.

The prime minister claimed that the farmers' income has been increased manifold during the PTI government. "We are facing the current account deficit. Dollars are shifted abroad for importing machinery for industry. We will have to bring more and more dollars in the country," he said.

He said that China was going to be a superpower after adopting the principles of the State of Madina.

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar announced 32 percent job quota for Southern Punjab. "The PTI has given a new identity to Southern Punjab. PM Imran Khan himself laid the foundation stone of Southern Punjab Secretariat and allocated separate budget for it," he added.

He said that they were starting the Kissan Card for Bahawalpur today. "Kissan card can be used as ATM card," he added.
