Heavy fog affects air operations, forces closure of Motorways in Punjab and KPK

LAHORE (92 News) – Heavy fog in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has badly affected air operations, closing Motorway at several points.

Numerous flights have been delayed at Lahore airport. GT Road and other highways affected. In Shahkot, three people, including two children, were injured in an accident at GT road due to zero visibility.

On the other hand, in Renala Khurd a mini school bus overturned due to brake failure. In the accident driver and three children got injured. Rescue 1122 teams immediately reached on the spot and provided first aid.

Police have recommended people to avoid unnecessary travel.
