Heavy rain lashes parts of country

LAHORE (92 News) – Heavy rain lashed various parts of the country including Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday bringing down the mercury considerably leaving the residents shuddering in cold. Rain with thick clouds took the city by surprise leaving the residents shuddering in cold. Heavy rain was reported in different cities including Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Murree, Gujranwala, Jehlum, Pattoki and other cities. According to Met office, the current rain spell will continue intermittently in Punjab till night while in the northern areas including Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan it will persist till tomorrow. Similarly, Malam Jabba received up to one feet snowfall and Murree hills half feet snowfall.
