Heavy rain lashes parts of country, turns weather pleasant

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Rain lashed in different parts of country including Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Peshawar and turned the weather pleasant early on Thursday. It rained heavily in the twin cities during the hours of Sehri, turning the weather pleasent. Rain inundated low-lying areas in Peshawar. Several areas including Jabah Sohailabad, Vani Sarai Pul, Abshar Colony, Varsak Road and Gulberg were under knee-deep water after the rain creating problems for the residents. Accoriding to the Meteorological Department, rain-thundershower is expected at scattered places of Punjab including in Lahore and Gujranwala Division. Rain is also expected in Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Hazara Division and FATA. Meteorological Department has said that hot and dry weather is expected in Sindha and Balochistan.
