Heavy rain turns Hyderabad city into a pond

HYDERABAD (92 News) – All roads and streets were inundated due to a heavy rain throughout the city. Several areas, including Latifabad and Qasimabad, were badly affected by the rain. Movement of trains was also disrupted on the track. A tree fell on a bogie of Hazara Express. However, no passenger was injured. Mirpur Khas city is receiving a heavy rain for the last 20 hours. Incessant rains also inundated low-lying areas in Thatha, Tando Allahyar, Jamshoro and Sanghar. Heavy rains have increased the risk of flood in several cities of the province.
