Heavy rains expected in Sindh, including Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The Met Office has on Tuesday predicted heavy rainfall in Sindh will begin earlier than other provinces. The Director also added that Sindh will receive an ample amount of rainfall this year and this monsoon season will be very favorable for the province. Some areas of Sindh will get heavy showers including Karachi and Hyderabad. The Met office have issued alert for rain-thunderstorm with heavy falls accompanied by windstorm in Karachi and the flood situation could be caused if the drains and nullahs could not be cleaned. On the other hand, the health department has imposed emergency in all the hospitals citing the warning.
