Heavy snowfall blocks roads in Neelum & Leepa, villages disconnected

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Several roads were blocked due to continuing heavy snowfall in the northern areas.

As result, hundreds of villages were disconnected from the cities, including Neelum Valley, Leapa, Grace, Astore, Nanga Parbat and Allah Wali Lake.

Thousands of tourists have been stranded due to blockage of roads. Due to the snowfall, locals and tourists are facing numerous difficulties.

Due to the worsening situation, demand and prices of warm clothes, fuel and food have increased manifold.

People are stuck in their homes and hotels due to snowfall.
