Help to be sought from China for improving Railways' condition: minister

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad on Friday that and full cooperation will be sought from China to improve condition of Railways. Speaking to the journalists after inaugurating a plant nursery at Margalla Railway Station, Sheikh Rashid said that a modern tracking system is being introduced in Railways for reducing journey between Lahore and Rawalpindi. The minister said passenger trains will also be plied on branch lines of Railways as well. He also said that four nurseries each are being developed at all divisional headquarters of Railways and trees will also be planted on both sides of railway tracks. Sheikh Rasheed further explained that Railways will have a key role in success of CPEC and full cooperation will be sought from China to improve condition of Railways.
